Standard hosting terms and conditions for websites provided by www.charityskills.org

1. www.charityskills.org provides high quality websites at low cost on a shared system and all websites provided by www.charityskills.org are subject to these Terms and Conditions. 

 

2.  www.charityskills.org's target uptime for the provision of websites hosted by www.charityskills.org is 99.4 % but www.charityskills.org gives no warranty as to the complete availability of any website hosted by www.charityskills.org.  In particular, www.charityskills.org takes no responsibility for routine maintenance operations which can cause a service interruption or have a temporary impact on performance or for failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, acts of any governmental body, war, terrorism, insurrection, sabotage, embargo, fire, flood, strike or other labour disturbance, unavailability of interruption or delay in telecommunications or third party services (including DNS propagation), failure of third party software or hardware or inability to obtain raw materials, supplies, or power used in or equipment needed for provision of the Website.

 

3.  Back-up copies of all websites are taken every 24 hours and are securely stored off-site.

 

4.  www.charityskills.org provides a Client support service which can be accessed during normal office hours by e-mailing .  We will make all reasonable efforts to respond to requests for support within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.

 

5. www.charityskills.org  has no responsibility for any content on any website provided by www.charityskills.org and does not warrant that the information provided is complete or sufficient or fit for any purpose and further gives no warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy or completeness of the information contained in or derived from or through any website provided by www.charityskills.org.

 

6.  www.charityskills.org disclaims and excludes to the fullest extent permitted by law all liability for any loss or damage of any kind whatsoever including but not limited to any indirect, special, consequential or secondary loss or damage or any loss of profit, time, contracts or goodwill or anticipated savings incurred by you howsoever arising in connection with the use of any website provided by www.charityskills.org.

7.  A link to a service or site outside a site provided by www.charityskills.org is not an endorsement by www.charityskills.org of the service or site, its content or sponsoring organisation.

8.  There are inherent risks in the use of any software and information found on the internet or world wide web and you acknowledge that you understand these risks before using www.charityskills.org’s services. The use of a website provided by www.charityskills.org is at your own risk and www.charityskills.org will not be liable for any damages or injuries arising out of computer virus or other destructive or disruptive material or any failure of hardware or software or theft or damage to your own material or systems consequent on your use of any website provided by www.charityskills.org whether caused by our negligence or not.

 

9.  www.charityskills.org reserves the right to increase hosting fees at the end of any year when  there are increased costs for the shared services but will endeavour to keep any such increases to a minimum and will give you three months prior notice of such increases.  You understand that because you are sharing applications, your site cannot be hosted other than through us.
