Inducting New Trustees

This half-day course is for senior staff and trustees responsible for inducting new trustees into their charity. It covers the recruitment and induction processes and provides delegates with a CD-Rom of useful guidance and templates.


Topics covered include:

  • Recruiting new trustees
  • The induction process
  • The induction pack
  • Legal duties of trustees
  • Induction as a Board member
  • Helping new trustees to be effective

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to:

  • Set up an effective induction process
  • Produce a comprehensive induction pack
  • Provide guidance on key governance topics
  • Assist new trustees in their organization to become effective as quickly as possible

Venue and Times
The course will be held on Tuesday 2 October at one of our regular training venues in Central London between 10 am and 1 pm.

Cost
The cost of the course is £80 plus VAT including refreshments and course materials.
