Effective Appraisals
Appraisals or performance interviews are a key element of performance management and the right skills and attitudes are required to ensure a successful outcome. This course provides anyone required to carry out
such interviews with the skills and techniques to help them conduct effective appraisals.
The course will enable participants to:

Understand what should and should not be covered in an appraisal.

Plan, prepare for and carry out an appraisal meeting to ensure the time is well spent

Learn how to set an objective and apply this within an appraisal setting, and how to get commitment to the objectives.

Manage the output from an appraisal.

Consider how appraisees can be helped to better understand the process and reasons for appraisals.
