Stone King was established in Bath in 1785 and since 1990 the Firm has had an office in London.  Since 2000 the London office has been staffed by a permanent team of partners and other solicitors and essential support staff, working exclusively on charity law.  The Firm has thirteen partners, five of whom work exclusively for charity and not-for-profit bodies. We concentrate on the areas of law that we can deal with effectively and we have a recognised expertise in acting for charities and other not-for-profit institutions.  Our clients include religious orders, national arts bodies and museums, health charities and hospitals, education and training organisations, amongst others.  We understand the need for such organisations to demonstrate they comply with the high standards required of public and charitable bodies and are fully accountable for the use of public and tax-relieved funds. We also understand the need of organisations to obtain value for money and operate on sound commercial principles  Stone King is placed 4th in the Dresdner Top 3000 Charities 2002 List of Charity Law Firms.  For further information please contact Ann Phillips in the City office; Stone King, 39 Cloth Fair, London EC1A on   or at Stone King 13 Queen Square Bath BA1 2HJ Ph: 01225 337 599 Fax: 01225 335 437.
